Why Do My Feet Hurt?

Far too many people go through their lives living with pain in their feet, feeling perhaps that there is nothing that can be done to relieve their symptoms. "I'm just on my feet too much", or "these feet have walked too many miles" are the excuses I hear, and sadly, they go on suffering needlessly day in and day out. Wouldn't it be better to find out what is causing your pain, and taking active steps to eliminate your symptoms?

Foot pain can be caused by a wide variety of conditions, so it's important that you seek help from someone trained in all aspects of foot disorders. Here is a short list of some of the more common problems that we see and treat at Concord Foot & Ankle Clinic on a daily basis:

Plantar Fasciitis (heel pain)
Bunions (bump on the inside of the foot at the base of the great toe)
Hammertoes (toes that are no longer straight, but contracted & crooked)
Neuroma (enlargement of one of the nerves in the foot)
Flat Feet (over pronation)
Arthritis (damage to the joints in the feet)
Corns and calluses (thickening and hardening of the skin caused by excessive pressure or friction)
Ingrown Toenails (Toenails that painfully grow into the skin, often becoming infected.
Fungus Problems (thickening and discoloring of the toenails caused by a fungal infection, and when severe, can be painful)
PAD (Lack of sufficient blood flow to the legs and feet, causing pain normally with walking)
Gout (Painful inflammation that most commonly affects the joints of the feet)

The list just keeps on going on and on...

If you're suffering foot pain to any degree, don't put up with the discomfort any longer. We invite you to make an appointment so that you can first find out what's causing your symptoms, then begin the process that can lead to no more pain!
